This office is not a pain clinic. We are, however, expected to adhere to many laws and regulations as well as best practice standards. If you are taking multiple medications to manage your pain and/or anxiety, in most situations, you are better served by a pain clinic and/or mental health facility. We can help refer you accordingly.

However, if you are on controlled substances and are wanting help in reducing the amount you are on, we can help wean you off or refer you to specialists for such help.


Controlled substances are prevalent in our area (both legally and illegally) and have caused the deaths of too many of our friends and family members. This clinic will not contribute to and further this problem.

When should you go to the emergency room?

Always choose emergency care when you are faced with a severe, life-threatening condition. Dial 9-1-1 or visit your ER right away if you or someone around you is experiencing any of the following emergency symptoms or conditions:

  • Chest pains or symptoms of heart attack or stroke
  • Seizure
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Abdominal pain
  • Head injury or pain
  • Poisoning
  • Choking or difficulty breathing
  • Open fractures, severe cuts, burns or uncontrollable bleeding
  • Fever in elderly individuals or young children
